Position Summary
Facilitate the State of Maryland Notary Public curriculum and training instruction. Provide instruction to students in a traditional and/or online environment for the purpose of becoming licensed notaries in the state of Maryland.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Provide the course of study for those that wish to apply for or renew their notary commission;
Administer the examination for those that wish to apply for a notary commission;
Complete associated paperwork and submit required reports to both the college and State of Maryland as required;
Maintain accurate records such as attendance and grades and promptly submit any corresponding reports;
Provide instruction to students in a traditional and/or online environment for the purpose of becoming licensed notaries in the state of Maryland.
Required Qualifications:
Have an active Maryland Notary commission;
Have, or work with the college to have, an active authorized Notary Public course of study and examination provider status from the state of Maryland;
Previous experience teaching as a Maryland Notary Public instructor for a minimum of two years;
One year of active notary experience;
Associates degree or higher, preferred.
Online teaching experience and active E-Notary instructor certification, preferred.

Pay dates occur on the 7th and 22nd of each month. If those dates fall on a weekend, the pay date occurs on the Friday prior to the 7th and 22nd. As an employee of the college, you are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
In the best interest of the College, only individuals who are residents of Maryland or one of the following states will be eligible for employment at the college: Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia. The college will annually review this restriction and, if appropriate, expand the list of states of employment eligibility.
