Position Summary

The Department of Visual Arts at Anne Arundel Community College is seeking qualified candidates for instructors in the area of 3D Design.

Responsibilities include: assessing student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment, meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested, and adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards.

This position pays between $1,170.00 and $1,263.00 per faculty load hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Department seek qualified instructors to teach the following course: ART-102 - Three-Dimensional Design.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics.
Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas.
Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member.
Teach all scheduled classes.
Maintain accurate records.
Assignments may include day, evening, weekend, on-line and/or off-campus classes.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 2 years full time professional work experience in the area, OR a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years teaching experience. Please include a link to an online portfolio containing samples of professional work that demonstrate expertise in one or all of these areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years teaching experience in 3D Design.
Experience teaching in higher education in an online, synchronous format.
