Position Summary
The School of Liberal Arts is looking for an adjunct faculty member to teach Introduction to Cultural Anthropology during the Spring 2025 term,. The course will meet in-person, on the Arnold Campus, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 - 10:45AM. The successful candidate must be able to teach in a face-to-face, in person capacity during these hours. They should also be experienced with online learning management systems.

Pay dates occur on the 7th and 22nd of each month. If those dates fall on a weekend, the pay date occurs on the Friday prior to the 7th and 22nd. As a part-time faculty employee you are entitled to these benefits

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics.
Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member.
Teach all scheduled classes.
Maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities include: assessing student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment, meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested, and adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards.
Required Qualifications:
A Masters degree in Anthropology or a related field
College-level teaching experience preferred.
