Salary Range: $64,832-$81,040

Work Mode: This position requires regular in-person presence on campus and at alternative locations, depending on class schedule and other assigned duties.

Position Summary

The program coordinator is responsible for managing the daily processes within the student non academic misconduct conduct process. These responsibility includes developing reports, maintaining confidential student information, managing the student conduct database, conducting presentations, resolving allegation of non academic misconduct and corresponding with different campus constituents. The coordinator will also assist the director of student conduct with program assessment and special projects associated with campus-wide efforts or initiatives designed to enhance student retention, including eradication of achievement gaps, and completion. Where appropriate, the coordinator is expected to collaborate with other student services units on matters related to co-curricular learning. The coordinator reports to the Director of Community Standards, and is a member of the Dean of Student Development staff.

Pay dates occur on the 7th and 22nd of each month.  If those dates fall on a weekend, the pay date occurs on the Friday prior to the 7th and 22nd. As an employee of the college, you are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Perform tasks related to compliance including maintaining accurate and complete campus disciplinary records in accordance with applicable College policies and make regular updates to associated databases;

Serve as a hearing officer for administrative conferences with students.

Perform tasks related to communication including collaborating with the Division’s communications coordinator to design, develop, and maintain educational and promotional materials that increases campus awareness of the Code of Student Conduct and civility; develop and launch a departmental website; update online training modules for new students; and ensure print and online resources are available for faculty and staff.

Assist the director with conducting presentations to faculty on classroom management as it relates to disruptive behavior and developing educational programming related to civility and community standards

Provide timely and accurate information to College officials charged with collecting data for state and federal reporting purposes

Assist the director with training of the Student Disciplinary Review Council

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher

Minimum of two years of relevant experience

Familiarity with student development theory and its application to co-curricular learning

Ability to organize and prioritize, apply theories and best practices, conduct research and outcomes assessments, and be task and detail-oriented.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and public relations skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with program assessment, including utilization of the Council for the Advancement of Standards

At least three years’ experience adjudicating student discipline matters – conduct and/or academic integrity.

Familiarity with higher education technology applications such as Maxient

Experience compiling and reporting statistics for College, state or federal compliance

Ability to function independently and as a member of a team in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment
