Position Summary

The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Business, Economics and Entrepreneurial Studies departments. This includes providing support for accreditation efforts, program support for the Entrepreneurial Studies department and the Ratcliffe Scholars Program, database management, and promoting degrees, certificates, courses and other offerings to current and prospective students.

Pay dates occur on the 7th and 22nd of each month. If those dates fall on a weekend, the pay date occurs on the Friday prior to the 7th and 22nd. As an employee of the college, you are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

In the best interest of the College, only individuals who are residents of Maryland or one of the following states will be eligible for employment at the college: Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia. The college will annually review this restriction and, if appropriate, expand the list of states of employment eligibility

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Enrollment and Retention efforts
* Share information about BEES degrees & certificates with AACC students, families, and the community at events.
* Coordinate the traveling road shows for the School of Business & Law.
* Assist in creating and updating promotional materials for BEES programs.
* Track student progress and contact those nearing program completion.

General Department Support
* Assist with accreditation efforts, including maintaining supporting documents for self-studies and site visits
* Create, update and maintain databases of ESI alumni, business advisory board members, guest speakers, and internships for departments use.
* Other duties as assigned by Assistant Dean

Activities to support the Entrepreneurial Studies department
* Create and send weekly E-newsletter
* Help organize and support ESI events – including Big Idea, Business Pitch, Hawk Trade, and semester kickoffs
* Share information about ESI programs in AACC classes
* Manage the Ratcliffe Scholars Program, to include assisting with scholarship application review up to 3x per year, serving as the ESI liaison with Financial Aid, coordinating with judges, maintaining the LiveBinder for students, conducting orientation for new scholars, monitoring continued eligibility for the program and meeting with students.
* Help collect feedback from alumni through surveys.
* Oversee Hatchery workers
* Maintain Hatchery supplies and equipment
* Assist in the preparation of the annual report to the Ratcliffe Foundation
* Arrange tours of the Hatchery as needed




Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree or higher

Minimum of two years of relevant experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Experience with database management
