Contract Dates: August 16, 2026– June 15, 2027
Teaching Formats: Day, evening, weekend, in person,hybrid, and online
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Teach a variety of Anatomy and Physiology courses, including Structure & Function of the Human Body, Human Biology Sequence and Anatomy and Physiology sequence. Course schedules may include an occasional evening, weekend or condensed formats. May involve teaching hybrid sections.
• Remain current on effective teaching and learning practices that promote equity and inclusion for underrepresented groups in science
• Serve on department and institutional committees,
• Accept any special assignments that further the mission of AACC, particularly collaborating with Health Science programs about our curriculum and efforts.
Required Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Biology or closely related field with a strong emphasis on Anatomy or Physiology
• Evidence of collaboration and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 years community college teaching experience
• Ability to teach a range of courses and adjust expectations and strategies to meet the needs of the course.

Pay dates occur on the 7th and 22nd of each month. If those dates fall on a weekend, the pay date occurs on the Friday prior to the 7th and 22nd. As an employee of the college, you are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
