Position Summary
The engagement and operations technician assists in recruitment, enrollment, retention, and operations support for the grant-funded GenCyber program. Responsibilities include facilitating program and course enrollment activities, engaging with Middle School students and their parents in the application process, and assisting with student retention and pre- and post-camp activities. The day camp takes place at the end of June, and the person in this position will assist with camp preparation and operations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Respond to parents who have questions about the GenCyber program.
2. Recruit and advise current and prospective students and follow these students through to completion.
3. Recruitment and Operations Technician: GenCyber will assist with pre-camp and post-camp outreach programming.
4. This position will be charged with monitoring, collecting, analyzing, and reporting on student enrollment and retention data.
5. Provide classroom support during the week of the camp.
6. Help compile and write the final report along with the program director.
7. Troubleshoot problems or issues that may arise before, during, or after camp.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework.
Five years of experience in a support or customer service position.
Ability to create and manage documents and interact competently with spreadsheet data.
