Position Summary

The Homeland Security and Criminal Justice Institute is looking for part-time faculty to teach between 1-3 classes in Homeland Security (HLS courses). Courses are available in-person at our Arnold campus, Glen Burnie Town Center location, Arundel Mills location, partnering high schools, and online (synchronous and asynchronous).

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: teaching, assessing student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment, meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested, and adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in Homeland Security relevant to HLS course offerings. A master's degree in Homeland Security, Criminal Justice or similar area.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with the CANVAS learning management system is a plus.
